The funding available for EV charging is changing to make it easier for landlords, freeholders, managing agents and residents who live in apartment buildings to install EV chargers.
What is it?
It is grant funding offered by the Government via the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles ( OZEV ). There are currently two types of grants available; one for charge points and one for infrastructure; both can be claimed for on the same car park.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Freeholders , Landlords , RTM’s . RMC’s & Managing agents can qualify, but an OZEV approved installer must be used. The grants can be used at apartment blocks , flats , house & commercial premises where the associated car park must be off-street , private and clearly defined.
